Gorilla Trades Continues Rapid Global Expansion World Takes Notice of Stock-Picking Gorilla

PRNewswire Dec. 6 2006
GorillaTrades.com, an online subscription-based financial service that uses a technical, analytical research system to identify potentially explosive stocks, has added 15 new countries to its subscriber base in the past 60 days, bringing its total global reach to 55 countries. GT subscribers include both seasoned and novice investors from countries as far reaching as Trinidad, Macedonia, Nigeria, Estonia, Malta and Thailand. These are in addition to subscribers from the U.S. and Canada, South and Central America, Europe, Israel, South Africa, Kuwait, China, the Philippines, Iceland, and many others. Gorilla Trades follows only those stocks traded on U.S. markets.

GT's founder attributes his company's impressive international growth to the phenomenal increase in online trading by individuals from all walks of life made possible by access to internet service in even the most remote corners of the world. He also cites the rapid disintegration of traditional brokerage methodology - a system that results in pricey commissions and one that typically cannot recommend the stock of a company their particular research does not cover.

Gorilla Trades' founder, who prefers anonymity, served as a successful broker/officer at a major brokerage firm before devising the online system in 1999. Gorilla Trades, which incorporates creative jungle metaphors in its subscriber communications, has realized exponential growth since its inception. GT's founder says strong portfolio performance is the key to GT's growth and continued success. For example, of today's 52 confirmed GorillaPicks, 49 hold gains, and 28 hold double-digit gains, led by Immucor (BLUD), Logitech (LOGI) and Baidu.com, with more than 35% gains each.

GT communiques are e-mailed to subscribers five evenings per week and feature the narrative voice and sage stock advice of "The Gorilla," who serves as company spokesperson. The daily publication offers portfolio updates, Gorilla commentary, and any new potential stock picks, referred to as GorillaPicks. Many -- but not all -- GT investors choose to execute GorillaPicks through online trading systems.

GT uses a proprietary analytical system for stock trading that examines the interrelationship between stock price and trading volume, sifting through 6,000 stocks daily searching for those that most closely match each of 14 technical indicators of explosive upward movement. Specific price points are set for entries and exits. To reduce risk, stop losses are automatically raised the week following a GorillaPick's "Confirmation Day."

"We've empowered people all over the world by offering the tools they need to trade with facility and intelligence," said the GT founder. "Because we do the research upfront, anyone with just a minimum of time to devote to investing can build an impressive portfolio."
