It Ain’t Over Until It’s Over

Have you ever sat down in front of your trading screen and just shook your head in frustration because you couldn’t figure out what to do?

Well, if you’re like most investors – you have…

And you probably did so last week.

There are just so many elements at play with today’s market volatility – it’s hard to figure out which way is up…

Everybody is searching for something that’s volatility-proof, trade-war-proof and Trump-tweet-proof – and so far, that search hasn’t produced many results.

Until now.

We may have figured out an industry and stock that both seem IMPERVIOUS to all of these factors…

And you’ll NEVER guess what it is.

Before we get into the stock that could be one of Wall Street’s biggest winners going forward…

What do you know about video games?

Now, we’re not talking about the games from some kind of 80’s arcade…

We’re talking about the video games that kids from ages six and onward are now playing in the comfort of their homes.

Did you know that gaming is one of the biggest and fastest growing industries in the world?

In 2017, gaming was worth about $20 billion – give or take a few billion depending on your source…

That’s nice – but may not be something that would make an investor stop in their tracks and immediately hit the “buy” button.

But…

What you may not know is that while it was worth roughly $20 billion a few years ago – the gaming industry is projected to be worth about $230 billion by 2022!

That’s a HUGE jump…

However, that’s just the beginning – as there are other projections that could have the industry weighing in at a hefty $300 billion by 2025!

This is BIG.

Yet, these stocks are generally under-appreciated by many investors simply because they look at the industry and any stock that comes from it as “childish” …

So, they don’t take many companies from this sector seriously.

But they SHOULD…

Going forward – these companies are going to be making some people a LOT of money.

For example…

Epic Games, the creator of one of the most wildly popular video games in recent memory, Fortnite (you know, the video game where all the kids are getting those ridiculous dances from), cleared $3 billion in PROFIT last year.

Yes, you read that right; ONE video game was responsible for $3 billion in profit for this company…

And it continues to make money hand over fist – even though the game itself is starting to lose popularity.

Too bad Epic Games isn’t publicly traded…

But do you know what is?

Activision Blizzard (ATVI) – the makers of such games as World of Warcraft and Call of Duty – is not only publicly traded, but it’s also on the rebound.

In 2018, the stock crashed hard – after failing to meet revenue projections – with shares dropping 28% in one month…

However, Activision didn’t throw in the towel…

Management sat down and put together a solid strategy of “getting back to the basics” and released an older version of their PC gaming title, World of Warcraft – rebranding it World of Warcraft Classic.

And gamers must have been feeling nostalgic – because they’re scooping up copies like hot cakes.

Not only that…

ATVI went back to the drawing board with one of the company’s most recent releases of their Call of Duty line, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

With COD – the company really didn’t change much, as far as game play is concerned, but ATVI did boost the game’s realism, gritty gameplay, and graphics – all of these improvements have already been praised in the gaming community even though the game hasn’t even been released yet.

Meaning Activision could have a BIG fall and holiday season.

Is it something that could fit into your portfolio?

Maybe, but that’s up to you…

What I do know for sure is that it’d be a smart play to take a good long look at Activision.

It’s the exact kind of company that GorillaTrades looks for…

The numbers look great…

And while ATVI does not currently meet all of the necessary technical parameters required by my proprietary GorillaTrades screening system– it still has A LOT going for it.

That’s how the GorillaTrades system works, though…

Off hard numbers and data.

If you’d like to take a closer look at it – please – consider becoming a subscriber today.

If it’s not for you – I totally understand…

But even if not, you should still consider looking at Activision – it could be one of the stocks that pushes you over the top in 2020.
