It Ain’t Over Until It’s Over

There’s no doubt that Elon Musk is one of – if not thee – smartest men on the planet…

What he’s done in his relatively short life is nothing short of amazing.

From PayPal, to Tesla (TSLA), to The Boring Company, to SpaceX, to the Not A Flame Thrower – it seems like anything that Elon dreams up – he tries to make a business out of it…

However, there’s no denying he’s got a few hang ups too.

For one, he’s against AI of any kind – he believes that it will lead to the destruction of mankind – and he may be right…

But for a guy that’s against the development of Artificial Intelligence – he seems dead set on creating things that could definitely be the perfect vessel for this type of self-learning technology.

And his latest idea – may be his most daring (and some say dangerous) yet!

Again, Elon goes in on Artificial Intelligence hard…

It would seem like he has a personal vendetta against this emerging technology sector.

Now, as hard as he rails against – there’s either two things going on here:

Either he knows something we don’t about how far AI can go…

Or he wants to be the first to perfect it and goes against it publicly in order to throw off the competition.

Regardless, for a guy that’s so against it…

Why does his technology work so well with it?

His Tesla technology is working on self-driving cars – if that’s not a form of AI – then I’m a monkey’s uncle. They’ve had some success with it – but it’s not 100% ready yet – however, when it’s all set, you can bet there will be some sort of AI aspect to it.

However, that’s not the most… questionable of innovations that Elon has dreamed up lately…

Now, the wunderkind is starting to dabble in something a little creepier than self-driving cars: robots.

Yes…

Despite the fact that there is a newly announced investigation into Tesla’s Autopilot (again an AI system from the guy that’s against AI) Elon recently unveiled a brand-new Tesla product: the Tesla Bot.

This has forced a lot of industry experts to pose one simple and important question…

Why?

Sure, it was revealed at the AI showcase and Elon likes to surprise people – and the showcase was the perfect opportunity for him to show off all the crazy stuff the company is working on…

But why now?

Sure, AI and robots have the potential to be gigantic market opportunities – but it seems like he already has some big fish to fry…

Isn’t putting robots on that plate a little much?

Some experts have even questioned whether Tesla is diversifying into the AI and robotics markets – but the odds of that are pretty low – as I said, he has other fish to fry and AI doesn’t seem to be his favorite cup of tea.

No, the reason that Elon has decided to reveal the Tesla bot comes down to what it always does – being the first.

Elon told showcase attendees that day, “We’re making the pieces that would be useful for a humanoid robot, so we should probably make it. If we don’t, someone else will — and we want to make sure it’s safe.”

So, there’s your “why”…

Because he can. He has the pieces – so why not?

However, it doesn’t give me the warm and fuzzies that he felt he had to joke that the robots would be slower than a human and small enough for us to overpower – but we’ve all seen how the Terminator movie and The Matrix turned out.

Slow moving and weird robots roaming around your house sound good to anyone?

Elon promised a working prototype of the Tesla Bot in 2022 – and if Elon and company can pull this off – they could be at the forefront of a new and potentially HUGE industry.

And if it works, it would add another high-tech (and high-priced) product to Tesla’s growing stable of innovations.

So for those of you who have stayed away from TSLA – you may want to take another look.

Of course, making a purchase decision on news like this – isn’t always the smart play…

And that’s the exact reason that I started GorillaTrades in the first place – I noticed too many emotional decisions based on “what ifs” instead of hard data and reliable information.

The GT system only gets triggered by those stocks that hit all the aspects of our trading matrix – it doesn’t go by news or rumor. We’d love to have you give it a spin – so please, consider become a member today!

If not, we understand, however, you may want to do yourself a favor and give Tesla another look – it may be worth it to jump in or buy more of this stock – if you like robots and outer space!

“Over time I think we will probably see a closer merger of biological intelligence and digital intelligence… It’s mostly about the bandwidth, the speed of the connection between your brain and the digital version of yourself, particularly output… Some high bandwidth interface to the brain will be something that helps achieve a symbiosis between human and machine intelligence and maybe solves the control problem and the usefulness problem.” – Elon Musk
